Dr. James received his M.Sc. from Dalhousie 카지노게임사이트 in Oceanography, Ph.D. from McGill 카지노게임사이트 in Geology, and was a Post-doctoral Fellow and Assistant Professor at the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, 카지노게임사이트 of Miami. Before coming to Queen's, he was a Professor of Earth Sciences at the Memorial 카지노게임사이트 of Newfoundland. Dr. James devotes much of his research to understanding the origin of carbonate rocks, principally by investigating modern environments of deposition and applying the concepts learned to the older rock record. These investigations are a combination of field study, sedimentology, marine geology, stratigraphy, petrography, paleontology, and geochemistry. The scope is global with current projects in Australia, South America, The Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin, and Bermuda.
