Research Interests:
Dr. Way's research uses a combination of field study, environmental modelling and remote sensing to characterize and predict environmental and climatic changes in northern environments with a particular interest on permafrost in Subarctic and Arctic Labrador. Dr. Way also operates a remote network of climate stations across Labrador which support climate monitoring and adaptation initiatives in the region.
