Dr. Carolyn DeLoyde

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography and Planning. My current research is focused on cities and the natural environment, Natural Heritage Systems, ecosystem services, and community engagement. I am currently researching alongside Dr. Betsy Donald and I am the project manager of Kingston in Focus, an online interactive dashboard created by Queen's 카지노게임사이트 in collaboration with the City of Kingston, Kingston Economic Development, and the Kingston and Area Association of Museums, Art Galleries and Historic Sites. The dashboard serves to support data-driven policy development while encouraging community participation in local democracy. 

I completed my PhD in Geography at Queen카지노 게임 컬렉션�s 카지노게임사이트 in 2021.  My dissertation research investigated Natural Heritage Systems (NHS) within high growth urban areas in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton area (Region of Halton), along with current approaches to NHS planning using detailed document analysis, surveys, interviews and workshops with NHS and planning stakeholders in Ontario.  This research will serve to inform NHS planning practice.
