Intended audience: The session is for those interested in becoming effective allies to under-represented groups in STEM; including undergraduate and graduate students, postdocs, faculty, staff, and industrial practitioners. Certificates of completion will be provided to all participants.

 A professional WinSETT facilitator will lead participants through an interactive online 90-minute skill-building session to:

路       Explore a model for allyship for more inclusive workplaces

路       Practice a simple framework for allyship using reactive and proactive cues

路       Identify how gender impacts the effectiveness of allyship 

路       Explore strategies to be a more effective ally by considering real-life scenarios
