This workshop will explore close reading as a way of empathetically imagining the complex, intersectional identities of others. We will unpack various literary and art pieces including Scarborough by Catherine Hernandez. We will also create a collaborative art piece that will be displayed in Duncan MacArthur Hall. Free copies of Scarborough will be available for Queen카지노 게임 컬렉션™s students. This workshop is part of the Queen카지노 게임 컬렉션™s Reads program and the Faculty of Education카지노 게임 컬렉션™s Indigeneity, Inclusion, and Equity Series. Students, staff, and faculty are eligible to receive a Certificate of Participation after attending five IIE workshops/lectures.
