More about Arif: Arif Camoglu holds a PhD in Comparative Literary Studies from Northwestern 카지노게임사이트 and is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies program at Colgate 카지노게임사이트. His research and teaching focus on the Middle Eastern and British literatures of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, postcolonial criticism, poetry and poetics, intersectionality, and critical theory. Camoglu's work has been recognized by awards such as A. Owen Aldridge Prize for Best Comparative Essay and appeared, or is forthcoming in Comparative Literature Studies, European Romantic Review, Eighteenth-Century Studies, Global Nineteenth-Century Studies and Modern Fiction Studies. His current book project, "Spectral Empire: Anglo-Ottoman Poetics of Sovereignty," reconceptualizes empire in global Anglophone studies by attending to the historical-immaterial dimension of imperial sovereignty, while introducing Ottoman Turkish literary sources to postcolonial debates on imperialism.
