Mabel Corlett, Professor Emeritus, In Memoriam

It is with great sadness we share the passing of alumna Dr. Mabel Corlett on Sunday, April 14, 2019.

In 1960 Mabel was the first woman to obtain a BSc in Geology at Queen카지노 게임 컬렉션™s 카지노게임사이트. She earned her MSc and PhD at the 카지노게임사이트 of Chicago, returning to Queen카지노 게임 컬렉션™s in 1969 to teach Minerology. She made great strides as the  department카지노 게임 컬렉션™s first female professor. She resigned in 1986 to start her own business, the Wool Room.

Mabel will be deeply missed by her former students and colleagues.
