Exploring the world and making new friends
The Faculty of Arts and Science has launched a new day camp opportunity for children aged 5 to 12. MiniQ Camp, led by Julia Brook (Director, DAN School of Drama and Music), will consolidate several of the camps previously offered by several FAS departments.
In addition to Dr. Brook, the MiniQ Camp committee includes Alicia Kupinski (Undergraduate Assistant, Film and Media, Scott MacKenzie (Department of Film and Media), Troy Day (Department of Mathematics and Statistics), Rob Knobel (Department of Physics, Engineering Physics & Astronomy), Melissa Lafrenière (Department of Geography and Planning), and KP Anand (Advancement).

MiniQ Campers will explore, create, and learn about the world around them through games, projects, and activities in a safe, welcoming environment through hands-on Arts and Science activities. At the end of each week, the camp culminates with a Graduation Showcase.
Campers aged 5-6 will explore the world through a variety of activities each week. Campers aged 7-12 will engage in a variety of arts and science activities each morning. Then, campers will select a 'Major' in Arts, Science, or Outdoors that they will explore during the afternoon sessions.

Registration for the Queen's community is now open with Early Bird registration opening to the general public on Monday, March 3.
