Dunning Hall, Room 11In the twenty-first century, scholars, collectors, and artists all must grapple with ethical issues concerning who has the right to make and/or represent Native art. Yet the history of the making of First Nations art is riddled with misrepresentations and even forgeries, many of which have not been fully explored nor unmasked in the literature on these topics.
