Leonardo (Leo) Dagum passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Dec. 24, 2021, after a 22-month battle with metastatic melanoma. He is survived by his mother; wife; three daughters; and brothers, Alex and Paul. After leaving NASA, Leo served as vice-president of engineering for several companies in Silicon Valley. He was a phenomenal surfer, skier, and mountain biker, who enjoyed playing his guitar as well as camping and hiking with his family and friends.
